Company culture is incredibly important. Every organization has its own unique culture, and having a positive one makes a big difference. It boosts engagement, satisfaction, and motivation among team members. When people feel connected to the brand and its values, they’re more dedicated to their work, perform better, and stay with the company longer.
A strong culture also fosters collaboration, open communication, and trust. When employees feel comfortable sharing ideas and seeking feedback, it leads to greater productivity, creativity, and overall performance. Plus, a healthy culture enhances a company’s reputation and attracts both customers and top talent.
Anago’s culture has deep roots. Our Founder, David R. Povlitz, established the company over 30 years ago with a mission to empower people and guide them to become successful small business owners. Inspired by the Greek-Latin word “anagogue,” which means to guide or uplift, Anago was born. And we continue to uphold these values today, creating a supportive and thriving environment for everyone involved.
Anago’s Franchise Culture
How can you gauge the quality of a franchise brand’s culture? Franchise Business Review asked more than 36,000 franchise owners from 360 top franchises to find out who put company culture at the forefront. They looked at 17 aspects that build a strong company culture, such as leadership, core values, the sense of community among franchisees, and overall engagement. But their most crucial question was: Does your franchisor genuinely care about your success? Agreeing with this one key statement is the strongest indicator that a franchisee would recommend their brand to others.
The companies on the FBR Culture100 list outrank other brands by 20% – 50% across these key areas. On a 100-point satisfaction scale, every franchise on our 2023 Culture 100 List has an FBR Culture Score of 80+. This puts them in the top quartile of all franchises surveyed.
Our tagline says it all: Our Franchisees. Their Success.® And we’re proud to be recognized among the Top 100 for franchise culture!
