Halloween is a spine-tingling good time (for most) where the time-honored celebration marks the end of the summer harvest and prepares for the grueling winter ahead. The origins of Halloween vary depending on different geographic and cultural references. Still, the most noted history dates to the eighth century, when Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor saints. Soon after, All Saints Day came to incorporate some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before All Saints Day was known as All Hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween.
Whatever your beliefs or celebrations, we want to ensure that you stay safe and keep a fun, ghoulishly clean perspective. In our celebration of Halloween, we polled our staff to learn which movie was the scariest – classic or new. There were many runners-up, including the hallmark slasher films of Michael Myers, Jason Vorhees, and Freddy Krueger, but leading the polls were movies about the paranormal – and there is a lot to consider. One stands out to Anago for one of the film’s final lines. In Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic, Poltergeist, Tangina, the eccentric medium helping Carol Anne find her way home states, “this house is clean,” once Carol Anne is back safely in her mother’s arms.
In the spirit of “cleaning,” we ask, is your house, office, or business clean? Not clean of evil spirits or poltergeists, but clean from germs or other bacteria that can cause fear and horror.
Well, here’s where Anago can offer a helping hand (that might be disembodied – insert spooky music). Check these scary places that might be harboring scary germs and monster bacteria.
Please remember that germs are lurking everywhere and are ready to scare the Beetlejuice out of you. So BEWARE, BE WARNED but don’t BE AFRAID TO CLEAN! IT MIGHT JUST SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!
