“Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity-hoppity, Easter is on its way. You’ll wake up on Easter morning and you’ll know that he was there, when you find those chocolate bunnies that he’s hiding everywhere.”
First, what do the Easter bunny and Easter eggs have to do with Easter? Well, turns out that the bunny and “eggs” originated as pagan symbols of spring and rebirth. Over the centuries, these ancient symbols became associated with the Christian holiday of Easter such that the two traditions have merged to become what some celebrate today.
Second, let’s not forget the mud and dirt that Mr. Cottontail may drag into the house as he hops around hiding chocolate bunnies and colorful eggs throughout the house (and let’s not forget the marshmallow Peeps). Add in the troves of family – as much as we love them – that will celebrate the holiday with creamy foods, colorful drinks and plenty of desserts made from chocolate, butter, sugar, flour, cool whip and so much more. You have one solid mess of a time ahead that will ultimately need cleaning.
With that said, we love our families and the moments we can gather to celebrate holidays, but at the end of the day, Easter clean-up commences and Anago is here to provide a few tips to help get your house back into the clean of Spring.
Spring-cleaning and cleaning your home for the Easter family gathering doesn’t mean losing yourself down a rabbit hole. Get the cleaning done for those fresh holiday memories. Oh, and don’t forget about the Easter egg hunt! The best hiding places are the places you just cleaned – behind all the nooks and crannies.
Whether you celebrate Easter or just the beautiful Spring season, Anago wishes you, your family, and friends a very happy weekend of food, family, fun, or just lying around after a good, solid cleaning.
