Adam D. Povlitz, CFE, CCE

CEO & President

Mr. Povlitz joined AFI in September 2009 and has served as AFI and ACS’s President since April 2015 and was appointed CEO in May 2018. Previously, he was appointed Director of Human Resources / Franchise Development in January 2010. In September 2010 he was appointed Vice President – Operations. In 2013, Mr. Povlitz was promoted to Executive Vice President, and in April 2015, appointed President. Before joining Anago, he was employed by IBM Corporation as the Growth Initiatives & Expense Analyst. Mr. Povlitz also holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and a Cleaning Industry Management Standards Certified Expert (CCE). Mr. Povlitz is also a thought leader on the Forbes Business Council and a regular contributor to Entrepreneur and Forbes publications.

Peter Sheldon

Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Sheldon joined AFI in June 2022 as the Chief Strategy Officer. His career began in 1990 when he founded Sheldon Enterprises, a start-up commercial facility services company. In 1994, he sold his company and entered the franchise commercial cleaning industry as Regional Director with Jani King International. In 1998, he joined Coverall Cleaning Concepts as Regional/Divisional Director where he spent the next 14 years and joined the executive team in 2005. He designed Coverall’s Health-Based Cleaning System, a catalyst driving the adoption of hygienic cleaning protocols in the franchise cleaning industry. In 2012, he joined Capital Contractors, Inc. as the Chief Operating and Revenue Officer and became Chief Executive Officer in 2016. In 2018, Mr. Sheldon joined Atalian Global Services as the Chief Operations and Revenue Officer for the North American Subsidiary of Atalian Global Services. In 2019, he was named CEO of Atalian NA.

Jay Benge

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Benge joined AFI in September 2023 as the Chief Operating Officer.  Before joining Anago, he held leadership roles at Theory Wellness, serving as Executive Vice President. In 2020, he joined SunFlora as President of Franchise Systems and was later promoted to President in 2021, serving in that position until July 2022.  From 2008 to 2020 , he held several leadership roles at Jackson Hewitt, most notably as VP of Development and Divisional Vice President of Retail and Franchise Operations.  Mr. Benge brings over 20 years of senior leadership and business development experience in both small and large companies, specializing in franchise, retail, and corporate operations.  He also holds an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California Coast University.

Judy Walker, CFE

Senior Vice President

Mrs. Walker joined AFI in August 2001 and became Director of Franchise Marketing in 2002. She was appointed Vice President – Marketing in February, 2005. Mrs. Walker started with AFI in 1994 and became head of the telemarketing department in August 1994. In April 1998, she became Director of Telemarketing for the South Florida Master Franchise. Previously, she was Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing for Windows on the World Restaurant in New York City. Mrs. Walker holds a Master of Science in Education from Wagner College, is a Certified Franchise Executive, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Lisa Ritenour, CFE

Vice President, Internal Operations

Mrs. Ritenour has served as our Compliance Banking Officer since January 2010 and our Director of Financial Systems / Human Resource Manager since September 2012. In January 2013 Mrs. Ritenour was appointed Vice President of Internal Operations. Mrs. Ritenour has also served as a Director of Anago of South Florida since January 2006 and served in that company’s Operations and Accounting Department from 2000 through 2010. Mrs. Ritenour holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Everest University.

Juan Catoni, CFE, CCE

Vice President, Franchise Operations

Mr. Catoni was appointed Vice President of Franchise Operations in 2014. He started with Anago of South Florida in September, 1995, as an Operations Manager. He became Director of Operations in 1998 for the South Florida Master Franchise, and was promoted to the position of Regional Director in 2002, and also Anago of the Treasure Coast from May 2007-2013. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the “Instituto de Diseno Caracas”, Caracas, Venezuela and is an Cleaning Industry Management Standards Certified Expert (CCE). Mr. Catoni is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.

Chris Cunius

Vice President, Franchise Development.

Mr. Cunius was appointed AFI’s Vice President – Franchise Development in December 2019, and previously served as AFI’s Senior Director – Franchise Operations since December 2014.

Ana Hernandez

Vice President Of Marketing

Ms. Hernandez joined AFI in June 2022 and currently serves as Vice President of Marketing. Before joining Anago, she held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing for multiple global brands such as The Coca-Cola Co., Wendy’s International, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, DINE, & Focus Brands. In addition to her extensive background in franchising systems, she also has considerable experience in brand strategies and digital marketing performance. Ms. Hernandez holds a Master’s degree in business and marketing from DePaul University.

Adam Yazejian

Director Of Sales

Mr. Yazejian joined AFI in July 2020. He serves as the Director of Sales. Prior to joining Anago, he was President of his own sales consulting firm, A&K Yazejian, Inc. for 12 years. Before that, he was an executive in the hospitality industry with the title of Vice President for multiple companies. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
